In the 90s I ran A.A.F. Archives Art and Frame in Chandler and Mesa Arizona. I specialized in conservation framing of limited-edition prints and was Certified by Professional Picture Framers Association. I eventually had to close A.A.F. because I was recalled back into the Navy for Iraqi Freedom. Over my 10+ years in the Framing Industry I’ve framed everything from a shirt worn by Elvis Presley to a signed boxing glove from Sugar Ray Leonard. My customers were residential, businesses, museums curators and decorators. Since I still had my framing tools and the space and after some persuading from previous customers in Arizona and one now living in Texas, I decided to again offer custom picture framing. I must have been respected because recently one of my customers from the 90s drove all the way from Texas to get items framed because he doesn’t trust anybody but me to frame his art.
